About the WebTraderUK Scheme This new WebTraderUK scheme is introduced by the Direct Marketing Association and is designed to encourage consumer confidence in the online shopping environment. The core of the scheme is a consumer-focused Code of Practice with which online traders have to comply. This Code changes as new legislation or 'best practice' emerges.
